This dimmable 5W LED candle light bulb is part of a wider decorative range that has been developed by Crompton Lamps as a means of replacing traditional incandescent candle light bulbs. This LED candle is also known as a C35 due to its 35mm diameter.

For those of you already lamenting the demise of these incandescent light bulbs - never fear. Their enduring popularity led Crompton to develop this new range of LED equivalents.

Each light bulb in the range delivers form and function equally with the same gorgeous, retro styling no longer stymied by the restraints of outdated filament technology. With a clear glass finish, this light bulb is designed to recreate the look of traditional incandescent light bulbs.

The tungsten filaments found in these older light bulbs have now given way to four LED filaments, resulting in a gorgeous, traditional aesthetic that belies the light bulb's ultra-modern specification. These filaments, albeit similar in appearance, are much more efficient and robust than their traditional counterparts. Where a traditional light bulb might use approximately 40W to produce 470 lumens, these modern LED light bulbs use just 5W. This - coupled with the light bulb's vastly superior nominal lifetime of 10000 hours - has the potential to reduce lighting bills by up to 90%.

The light bulb's standard candle shape and BC-B22d bayonet (22mm) cap enable the light bulbs to retrofit directly to any existing fitting designed to accept light bulbs.

Any LED light bulb bought from Light Fittings Direct carries a 24-month warranty.

If you should purchase an LED light bulb from Light Fittings Direct and have it fail, break or develop a fault at any point within the timeline stated above from the date of purchase, we will happily replace the item or offer a full refund, depending on your wishes.

In instances where large numbers of bulbs fail within a relatively short period of time, we may ask you to return them to us so that they can undergo testing to identify any potential issues.

Manufacturers Warranty

This product is also covered by a manufacturer's warranty for a period of 2 years from date of purchase. Please visit the manufacturer's website for further details.

What doesn't our warranty cover?

In any instance where your bulb has developed a fault, we will do our utmost to replace it or offer a full refund (provided the item is still within its stated warranty period). However, if it becomes apparent that the product has been misused, tampered with or modified in any way, we will view this as having voided its warranty.

'Misuse' includes, but is not limited to, incorrect operation by the user, use of non-dimmable bulbs on a dimmable circuit or connection to or operation with an unsuitable power supply. 'Tampering' or 'modification' can be interpreted as any activity designed to alter the product in such a way that it can be used in a manner that wasn't intended by its original design. This can include rewiring, removing plugs, home repairs or changing components. Unfortunately, we won't be able to replace any item that has undergone any such process.
